Operated by the steering committee
Comprised of (internal) members of KAIST’s College of Engineering and (external) member institutes
KAIST STAR platform to be operated based corporate/institutional membership
  • Membership fee varies by size (conglomerate, mid-sized company, small/medium-sized enterprise, start-up) and purpose (private, public) of company/institute
(Unit: KRW 10 million, for three years)

Members can utilize STAR content, and conduct separate business projects using STAR content

  • Access to data cloud toolkit (public data on transport/energy/tire and mobility data for new business development), virtualization analysis toolkit, and virtual reality-reality symbiotic toolkit
  • Utilization of data/education/research programs within platform
  • Access to STAR toolkits, and opportunity to conduct separate projects using STAR content

Topics selected by operating committee to be developed through an open call for proposals to all KAIST faculty
